Safely in Rio

Dear friends,

I am now safely in Rio, beginning this whirlwind trip through South America. We arrived in the early afternoon, walked to a plaza and had lunch at a kilo (a buffet-style restaurant where they charge you based on how much your plate weighs) then did a film shoot at the landmark site Christ the Redeemer on Corcovado Mountain.
